The main hub of this carrier is the IGI Airport in Delhi and the Mumbai airport. Operating 357 domestic flights from 25 destinations; it is an important domestic carrier in India. To board an Air India regional flight, check in at the Air India counter 2 hours before the departure of your flight. The baggage limit is 20kg for economy class and 30kg for business class. You will be provided meals on board. What more, you can even get cheap tickets and great bargains with a youth discount of 25% if you are less than 25 years of age. E-ticketing is also for all domestic routes. Its fleet size is 12 mainly consisting of the ATR 42-320.


SpiceJet - Spice jet is a low cost air carrier based in Delhi. It commenced operations in May 2005 and soon in 2008 became the second largest low cost airline in India in terms of market share. It created a big wave with its arrival by offering the first 9999 seats at only Rs. 999 each ($22). It has been voted as the best low cost carrier in South Asia by the Skytrax magazine.

Indigo Airlines - Indigo is a private domestic low cost carrier that is based in Gurgaon in north India. Its hub is the Delhi international airport. The airline is owned by Inter globe enterprise. It domestic service links 20 destinations. Being a low cost carrier, it does not offer complimentary meals online but has the facility to buy food on board. A reputed carrier, it was India's best low cost carrier in 2008.
